Volvo C30 is still on my wish list.

I just sold mine yesterday. Going on the test drive with the kid who bought it made me not want to sell it. Fun cars with a few simple mods.

Someday I will get an R design one. I prefer the looks of the earlier ones, but if I could get a polestar I won’t pass it up.

Mine was a 2008 R Design. The R Design was just appearance mods in the pre-facelift models. I think the facelift models had slightly shorter springs, but not much else other than the appearance package . The Polestar color is cool, but the tune is kinda on the tame side.

I believe the polestar had steering and handling upgrades too.
I dig the two tone, wheels, and rear spoiler on the R design.

I forgot, the steering ratio is 10% quicker. But that and the springs are the only differences. It’s really just the tune, which adds about 25hp and 25 lb/ft of torque.
By comparison, the stage 1 tune I had (with no other mods) added 40hp and 50 lb/ft.
